Knights of the Old Republic: Broken Souls Star Wars Fan Film

Winner of the 2015 Best Visual Effects Star Wars Fan Film Award. Darth Revan and his Sith general Meetra Surik, hunt down a monster that threatens the reclaimed Sith Empire.

The following film is a work of Non-Canon fan fiction. It is inspired by the alternate Dark Side Ending storyline as seen at the end of Knights of the Old Republic. Everything including plots from Knights of the Old Republic II: Sith Lords has been rewritten to accommodate this alternate universe. This film is based off of characters from the “Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic” games.

STAR WARS : THE SABLE CORSAIR fan film

The Sable Corsair was the recipient of the “Audience Choice” award for the 2016 STAR WARS Fan Film Awards held in London,UK for the 2016 STAR WARS CELEBRATION. Judges of the film included J.J. Abrams, Kathleen Kennedy, Rouge One: A Star Wars Story’s director Gareth Edwards, executive producer John Knoll of Industrial Light & Magic, and co-producer John Swartz.

With bounties on their heads in every system and The Empire in constant pursuit, the crew of The Sable Corsair are among the most elusive smugglers in the galaxy. During a mission to deliver weapons and supplies to a Rebel base on Galidraan IV, the ship encounters a huge Imperial blockade. During the fight, The Corsair’s navigation systems are badly damaged, leaving the ship floating helplessly in space. CAPTAIN ZAC ARRAN, in a desperate attempt to save his crew, makes the jump to hyperspace… but with the navigation systems gone, the ship is flying blind. They emerge in an uncharted system and the damaged vessel crashes on a desolate, seemingly uninhabited planet…

Adapted from Issue #1 of Frank Miller’s seminal 1986 comic series, filmmaker Wyatt Weed (“Shadowland,” “Four Color Eulogy”) offers his unofficial fan’s take on the Batman mythos. Following the death of Robin at the hands of the Joker, Bruce Wayne (Weed) hung up the cowl and cape 10 years ago. But now Gotham City is in the grip of a violent crime wave, and the venerable 55-year-old billionaire has to decide if the time is right for the Caped Crusader’s return.

The Dark Knight Returns filmed for 24 days over a 17-month period from June of 2015 through October of 2016. Shot on a shoestring budget of $2500, it features locations in and around the St. Louis metro area.
